SSH is an encryption protocol for networks created to allow secure connections across unsecured networks services via a secure channel. Client uses SSH client programs while server uses SSH server. It was originally developed for LINUX and other Unix-derived environment, also operates on other platform. There are two keys enabling process of authentication-private and public. Public key is present on all computers while private key is held solely by the user. It allows user`s customers to securely submit payment details across unsafe networks, namely internet. SSH is commonly used to log into remote servers , execute server commands or authenticate virtual private network users. There are number of different niches that may benefit from SSH, as it can be used to restrict remote access to servers or to provide users with high security browsing through a proxy connection.
